I wanted a league for ProMasters, where I didn't create the stat-line (though I reserve the right to create balance) except for the first year. The inaugural year is where I first developed the GST Standards of Excellence design. At the time it was GST's Top-Level League, and is still the Top-Level PremiumPro League.

Drew & Fat Bastards DOMINATED our inaugural year with a .611 Win%, finishing 5 games ahead of I Said Swing Away. Yellow Cap won the National League Division much farther behind. It was Moongenius who took the Championship though in a Battle Royal 9-8 Win over Drew & Fat Bastards in the Finals!

2011 -- Our 2nd Year we could only manage 10 teams, and thus went to a 6 Team Playoff System.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Drew & Fat Bastards 2. Shawshank Redemption 3. The Master Rectum 4. Glassbreakers (Commish) 5. Moongenius 6. Brooklyn Streetz 7. City of Champions 8. Tracers22j 9. Astro 10. Trammel
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Drew & Fat Bastards 2. Brooklyn Streetz 3. Moongenius 4. Shawshank Fedemption 5. The Master Rectum 6. Glassbreakers
This league is famous for GST GMs combining to form "teams" for this league. The most successful is Drew&Fat Bastards. Everyone was expecting them to dominate again. At first, it didn't seem it would happen. I employed a whole new concept in fantasy baseball stats, based on "excellence". I took the early lead, then Brooklyn Streetz took over as I faded to near last. Before long though D&FB took over and led the rest of the way. I wouldn't say it was domination, as Brooklyn and Master Rectum made runs (and later Shawshank Redemption). All to no avail.
This league last year is where newcomer Shawshank Redemption, primarily but not entirely, molded and created his reputation for ending runs. When I made my own run to last (before gaining ground), I couldn't get there because Shawshank had last place all tidied up with one of the lowest win% GST had every seen---and he was STEADY, never raising an inch. Then quite late....he TOOK OFF! Before it was over he was in 2nd and had a CHANCE to take over the lead on the last week (just missed). He did that in league after league...but it was this one that was so VERY noticeable!! Never seen anything quite like it.
No, there's more. Yes, D&FB were determined to not let the likes of Moon steal their championship this year -- and sure enough they cakewalked into the Finals.....where they met Brooklyn Streetz in what had to be and will forever be the CLOSEST FINALS known in fmlb! In the wee hours of the last day of baseball, I almost posted congratulations to Brooklyn Streetz--who appeared to have won in a squeaker--but I decided to wait until Yahoo had posted the last second changes. When I awoke I found D&FB had WON in a tiebreaker!!! They had done it this time!

2012 -- The league filled out nicely to its Maximum League Size this year, so we went back to an 8 Team Playoff System. Many New Faces, some with High Pedigrees!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Drew & Fat Bastards 2. The Master Rectum 3. Tracers22j 4. Moongenius 5. Trammel 6. Squeeze Play 7. Dodson 8. Squeeze Play 9. Smashmouth 10. Rosaita 11. The Takeover 2 12. Zentitlement 13. Sunshine Boys 14. Worcestershire Sauce 15. Glassbreakers (Commish) 16. Village Idiot
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Squeeze Play 2. City of Champions 3. Moongenius 4. Dodson 5. The Master Rectum 6. Trammel 7. Drew & Fat Bastards 8. Tracers22j
We all knew who would win the Championship even before the draft. The team of Drew and Fat Bastards had won every Championship this league ever had, usually dominating the Regular Season to boot. Of course, not only is this baseball, this is fantasy baseball, and not only is it fantasy baseball, its GST fantasy baseball--so of course it didn't turn out that way in the end.
Don't get me wrong, Drew and Fat Bastards dominated us all from the get go! Though Master Rectum made a couple runs at them, they dominated like no other GST league was, or has ever been, dominated. They ended up being the ONLY team with a .600 win% in GST in 2012! And that was not the whole story by a long shot. Their .623 win% ended up setting the GST All-Time Record!!
However, of course, that was not the whole story either! They suffered the largest whipping in the 2012 GST annals at the hands of City of Champions right off the bat. One of those new guys, with the high prior pedigree, Sqeeze Play, had one of the more dominating 2012 GST playoff runs, at least until he ran into City of Champions in the Finals. He squeaked that one out too, and will be one of the favorites in the Tournament of Champions!!

2013 --- The league was Maxed Out once again.
Regular Season Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Buyems Rangers 3. KP 4. Drew & Fat Bastards 5. Squeeze Play 6. Moongenius 7. Zentitlement 8. Shang Hai Grand 9. MarlinsFanLA 10 Score Lords 11. Sunshine Boys 12. Trammel 13. Glassbreakers (Commish) 14. The Master Rectum 15. Tracers22j 12. Melody's Vag
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Squeeze Play 3. KP 4. Zentitlement 5. Buyems Rangers 6. Moongenius 7. Drew & Fat Bastards 8. Shang Hai Grand
This season was interrupted by our first In-Season Confirmed Death of Buyems Rangers, taken over by Spin Doctors. Very Sad! There was to be NO Domination this season! Nothing was settled until the Dust Settled after the Finish Line!! City of Champions won the Regular Season by 1 game! The Entire Playoffs featured Monster Wins, the likes unseen in GST before, highlighted by the 1st Round DRUBBING of Past Champion Moongenius by KP 20-4! That theme would continue right into the Finals where City of Champions claimed his REVENGE with a Powerful Win over Defending Champion Squeeze Play!

2014 -- Now GST is having problems keeping this league at the Maximum Size. The league is threatening to "Burst Out at the Seams".
Regular Season Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Drew & Fat Bastards 3. MarlinsFanLA 4. Score Lords 5. Sunshine Boys 6. Moongenius 7. California Chrome 8. Spin Doctors 9. Glassbreakers (Commish) 10. Zentitlement 11. KP 12. Trammel 13. Drunk Cubs Fan 14. Squeeze Play 15. Shang Hai Grand 16. Tracers22j
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Score Lords 2. City of Champions 3. Moongenius 4. Drew & Fat Bastards 5. Spin Doctors 6. California Chrome 7. MarlinsFanLA 8. Sunshine Boys
This went Down to the Wire as the 2 Top Teams in the League's History went Nose-to-Nose Right to the End, with City of Champions coming out with the Top Seed by a Nosehair! ALL the 1st Round Playoff Competitions were BATTLES, but then Score Lords TOOK OVER - SMASHING his way Right THROUGH the Finals!! He won by 1 of the Biggest BLOWOUTS in GST History -- though it should be noted there probably was a Chopped Pot involved. This most likely made it Official that Score Lords has taken over as the "Face of GST"!

2015 -- We had several drops. It was more difficult to fill this league than usual. Several New Faces, should be interesting! Same old stat-line (until Somebody ELSE wins the Regular Season!
Regular Season Finish: 1. ZenTitlement 2. Moon Genius 3. Trammel 4. City of Champions 5. Big Stick 6. K is for Kershaw 7. The Mike Lansings 8. Team 16 9. Drew & Fat Bastards 10. Baseball Slooth Too 11. Glassbreakers (Commish) 12. Score Lords 13. Reverse Psychology 14. Sunshine Boys 15. November Delta 16. The Dashboard Light
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Zentitlement 3. The Mike Lansings 4. Trammel 5. Big Stick 6. Team 16 7. K is for Kershaw 8. Moon Genius
Zentitlement ROLLED through the Playoffs. Problem was, so did City of Champions! Other than the competitions involving these 2, EVERY OTHER competition was Very Close! Sadly for Zentitlement, he was No Match in the Finals for 2 Time Grand Champion, Living Legend, City of Champions. For the first time in years, somebody OTHER than City of Champions will be creating the Stat-Line next season. Advantage Zentitlement for 2016?
High Win%: .550 Low Win%: .435 High Moves: 209 (K is for Kershaw) Low Moves: 17 (Team 16)
