2011 -- The inaugural season was a Trial Year and played as a Head to Head Point League. I want to personally thank Simsy, one of the BIG Fantasy Commissioners for his invaluable help in setting up this league, his input, and for bring some of his GMs over to make this first season one of the BEST! Simsy and I made a Big Draft Position Trade before the draft (First/Last Positions), which threw the league for a Loop early, but since it had little actual effect during the season, it wasn't mentioned afterwards.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Ricky Vaughn 2. Wet Dreams 3. City of Champions 4. Band of Misfits 5. Punisher 6. Wainwright Story 7. Z Unit 8. Judicial Activists 9. Sizemore Matters 10. Glassbreakers (Commish) 11. Swisher Sweets 12. J. Votto 13. Out 4 14. Sweet Swinger 15. Slugs 16. Edmonton Royals 17. Yellow Caps 18. Can't Win for Shit
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Band of Misfits 2. Wainwright Story 3. Ricky Vaughn 4. Wet Dreams 5. City of Champions 6. Punisher
Ricky Vaughn DOMINATED the Regular Season! One of the Big Stories was Wainwright Story, who drafted Wainwright RIGHT BEFORE he went down for Tommy John surgery. He then made, by far, the most moves. He ended up in the Playoffs somehow. He was the talk of the league, both good and bad. Another weird thing was Simsy doing so badly -- which threw the league into a position of defending him, which I was a part of. All in all, it was QUITE the league, even if it didn't last long!! One of the most Vocal Leagues GST has experienced.

2012 -- The League changed into a True Points league -- thus changing its very nature. The league filled to the largest it would be since! Very exciting!!
Season Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Tiger Blood 3. Day Dreamers 4. J. Votto 5. Stewie is the Man 6. Dre's Hats 7. Judicial Activists 8. Glassbreakers (Commish) 9. Braves 2012 10. Punisher 11. Sweet Swinger 12. Edmonton Royals 13. Waiver Wire Snipers 14. Buddy Davis 15. Tony Gumbo 16. Brown Mel Gibson 17. Band of Misfits 18. Blue Jays 19. LA Islander 20. The Laser Show
This was the Closest year this league has ever experienced. Multiple Lead Changes, no real dominant team. It was a 2 team race by the end, but it took a long time to sort itself out.

2013 -- The league went down in size to 18, but we picked up lots of GST Regulars, now making up half the field. While Points leagues make for Long Season, without a Playoff, and can be demoralizing -- NOTHING is more exciting DAILY than waking up each morning to see how many points your team has accumulated!!
Season Finish: 1. TMR 2. City of Champions 3. Day Dreamers 4. Spin Doctors 5. Strong Bads 6. Sunshine Boys 7. Guinea Pig Empire 8. Punisher 9. Judicial Activist 10. Glassbreakers (Commish) 11. Dtownsluggers 12. DC Cubs 13. Crackerjack 14. LIF Firedogs 15. Zoo Medic 16. Fostersaurus 17. Tyler's Toys 18. Q
It didn't feel that close once the league sorted itself out, with TMR leading most of the 2nd Half, sometimes by a lot -- but it was actually the CLOSEST COMPETITION the league has known. TMR would lose the lead once in a while, only to gain it right back and pull away. It was the fewest points accumulated by the Winner, the closest to 2nd Place, and the closest the Last Place team would ever place. It didn't help he complained the whole way. For the middle of the pack, it was a CONSTANT BATTLE!

2014 -- I wanted ALL GMs to experience GST even if they weren't H2Hers. I decided to create 1 Rotis and 1 Points league (actually 2), but do it within the GST standards. Created at the same time, kinda Brother/Sister leagues, so to speak. I've always thought of this Points league as the Big Brother, both in Entry Fee and in my mind. The strangest thing happens every year though. Rotis always gets more teams early on, while Points entries lag -- but in the end Points has always ended up the Larger League. This year the league was filled with more GST Regulars than EVER! I KNEW the Competition would be TIGHT!
Regular Season: 1. Fostersaurus 2. Punisher 3. LI Firedogs 4. Dunedin Blue Jays 5. Dtownsluggers 6. Moonpoints 7. Strong Bads 8. Day Dreamers 9. Guinea Pig Empire 10. Batmen 11. Sunshine Boys 12. Glassbreakers (Commish) 13. Fallstaff'sWenches 14. DC Cubs 15. California Chrome 16. Drunken Bastard 17. Baller 32 18. The Scourge
It would be MORE accurate to say a large % of the GMs entered in this league have developed INTO GST Regulars. They didn't fail to deliver either! It was by FAR the closest competition throughout the year! Only something VERY STRANGE happened along the way! Something I've NEVER seen the likes of in GST before! Last year Fostersaurus, who was mired DEEP in last before finally passing a couple of teams late, after they laid down -- just EXPLODED this year!! He jumped into the lead fairly early and NEVER LOOKED BACK! He ended up with the Most Points ever accumulated in this league EASILY and the Biggest Lead over 2nd Place! There aren't too many League Records in a Points league -- but he now OWNS THEM ALL!!

2015 -- We started the year with 20 Teams raring to go at it! The Roster was pared down to the Standard GST Roster! I was expecting it to be the Hardest, Closely Fought Season Ever!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Halliwood Heat 2. Guinea Pig Empire 3. Montreal Royals 4. Downtownsluggers 5. Long Island Firedogs 6. Glassbreakers (Commish) 7. Bad News Braves 8. Encarnacion's Parrot 9. Punisher 10. Fostersaurus 11. Moonpoints 12. Hungry Jack 13. Batmen 14. Baller 32 15. Day Dreamers 16. Naked Snakes 17. DC Cubs 18. Sunshine Boys 19. Drunken Bastards 20. California Chrome
Points leagues are always the Most Fun at the Beginning, where Big Points Swings can really change the standings! I guess this is true of all fmlb leagues?! The Lead changed hands daily at first! Finally Long Island Brawlers managed the 1st Steady Lead, but could never pull away. Next came Guinea Pig Empire, with the same results. Both would have been Feel Good Stories -- but Late in the Season Halliwood Heat took the lead and was the 1st Team to Pull Away, which he continued to do until the End! This was not really surprising to us in the know -- while not a Prolific GST GM, he does Compete at the very Highest Levels.

2016 -- We once again fielded 20 teams, a few New Faces, Plenty of Competitive Spirit!! As usual I tweaked the stats just a teeny weeny bit.
Regular Season Finish: 1. DC Cubs 2. Ronald's Rad Team 3. Guinea Pig Empire 4. Montreal Royals 5. Batmen 6. Drunken Bastards 7. Moon Points 8. Jays Pennant 9. Bowa Constrictors 10. Louisville Launchers 11. Downtownsluggers 12. WAMCO 13. Haliwood Heat 14. California Chrome 15. Long Island Firedogs 16. Sunshine Boys 17. Glassbreakers (Commish) 18. Team XXX 19. The Boys of Summer 20. Auto Pickers
Considering that I tweaked the stats DOWNWARD, it is AMAZING the WHOLE LEAGUE scored MUCH HIGHER this season! Helluva accomplishment!! DC Cubs came up with an Entirely New and Unique Team Strategy I've NEVER seen employed anywhere else -- and rode it to a League Championship!! He had a Great GST Season!!! He had some rough spots, but Nobody could eventually Keep Up With Him! Amazingly for a Points League, none of the Top Teams came anywhere close to maxing out innings!
High Point: 6125.11 Low Point: 3717.85
High Move: 111 (Montreal Royals Low Move: 3 (The Boys of Summer)
