This was my first experimentation with having another GM Commission a GST league. It didn't turn out sustainable, but I'm still searching for Commissioners?! I set the general guidelines for the league, but the actual League Settings and Stats were created by Icewater (David Pilch). He remained the Commissioner for years. All GST Commissioners and Co-Commissioners are required to abide by the GST Standards of Excellence.

2010 -- Fully half the league was filled with David's Basketball leagues. Most were 1 and done, but a couple stayed and 1 still remains with us to date!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Schenectady Yankees 2. Bronx Bombers 3. Denton's Dugout 4. Judicial Activists 5. Moose Knuckles 6. City of Champions 7. Icewater (Commissioner) 8. Pucksteam1 9. Glassbreakers (Co-Commissioner) 10. Bad News Bears 11. Crusher 12. Jolter's Red Sox 13. The Wright Stuff 14. The Mighty Platypi 15. Drunken Bastard 16. Stone Swingers 3
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Schenectady Yankees 2. City of Champions 3. Icewater 4. Moose Knuckles 5. Bronx Bombers 6. Pucksteam1 7. Denton's Dugout 8. Judicial Activists
I had agreed to enter Schenectady Yankees commissioned league if he entered mine. I found his league to be dubious, but there became NO DOUBT his prowess as a GM -- as he COMPLETELY DESTROYED this league, though he barely SQUEAKED BY through the first 2 founds of the Playoffs. His .643 still reigns supreme in all GST leagues to date! Anybody who can beat City of Champions in a Finals is a Top Notch GM in my book!

2011 -- Half the league was New Faces.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Schenectady Yankees 2. Queen Kard Sharks 3. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 4. Bronx Bombers 5. SpringFever11 6. Judicial Activists 7. Orioles 8. City of Champions 9. Big Red Machine 10. Icewater (Commish) 11. KTown Yellowjackets 12. Stone Swingers 3 13. Red 14. Drunken Bastard 15. Jolter's Red Sox 16. Ace Holes
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Queen Kard Sharks 3. SpringFever11 4. Glassbreakers 5. Orioles 6. Bronx Bombers 7. Schenectady Yankees 8. Judicial Activists
Schenectady Yankees once again destroyed the league, though nothing as impressive as the year before. This year Queen Kard Sharks matched him almost completely. Also NOBODY was going to beat City of Champions twice in 2 years in the same league. Sadly for Schenectady Yankees -- he faced City of Champions in the 1st Round this year. There was NO STOPPING City of Champions, the first of his many Championship (and Grand Championships) to come.
Well established league with several new faces last year. Everyone expected Schenectady Yankees to dominate us all again. Didn't happen. Hot newcomer Queen Kard Sharks dominated the league from the veteran NL until right at the end. In the meantime the AL lead changed hands (it seemed) more times than there were weeks! The AL dominated the # of teams in the playoffs because many of those new faces were excellent teams (Big Red Machine, Orioles, Spring Fever)! Still we expected Schenectady to beat us and he almost did. Myself after slowly battling from below mid-pack AL, I took the lead 2 weeks left---but dropped to 4th in those last two weeks.
Plenty of trash talking in this league!!

2012 -- this is the year we expanded this league to 18 due to popular demand.
Regular Season Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Langley Knights 3. Judicial Activists 4. Drunken Bastard 5. Icewater (Commish) 6. X 7. Spin Doctors 8. Braves 2012 9. Big Red Machine 10. Bronx Bombers 11. Hoosier Daddy 12. Jolter's Red Sox 13. GFWI 14. Stone Swingers 3 15. Daydreamers 16. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 17. Kard Sharks 18. Schenectady Yankees
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Spin Doctors 3. X 4. Drunken Bastard 5. Judicial Activists 6. Braves 2012 7. Langley Knights 8. Icewater
Wow, WHAT a TOPSY-TURVY year for this league!! I think it broke the spirit of Shenectady Yankees, as he never returned to GST after this. Seeing Kard Sharks down there with him was unreal. City of Champions DOMINATED the Regular Season, and except for a REALLY CLOSE SHAVE with Drunken Bastard, he dominated the Playoffs too. I like to think it was this year, this league that gave City of Champions the momentum and start to his legendary future GST performances! We didn't realize it at the time, but those of us in this league this year all got to watch and experience the START of a Living Legend being birthed!

2013 -- Because of the 18 team max of the Commissioner, I literally had to turn GMs away, I had SO MANY requests to get into this league! It was definitely the heyday of this league! I've never had a league fill up so quickly as this one this year, before or since.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Braves 2012 2. Stone Swingers 3 3. KP 4. City of Champions 5. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 6. Spin Doctors 7. Icewater Flush (Commish) 8. Sloandogs 9. Langley Knights 10. Day Dreamers 11. Judicial Activists 12. DC Cubs 13. Brew Crew 14. Tacoma Heroes 15. Drunken Bastard 16. Brooklyn Streetz 17. Jolter's Red Sox 18. X
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Spin Doctors 2. City of Champions 3. Braves 2012 4. Icewater Slush 5. KP 6. Glassbreakers 7. Stone Swingers 3 8. Sloandogs
Braves DOMINATED the Regular Season, but I believe it was THIS WIN over City of Champions that gave Spin Doctors the impetus to become the powerhouse GST Regular he has become. I think it was unquestionably the highest level of competition this league has achieved, despite Braves dominance.

2014 -- We lost City of Champions, but gained Score Lords and got Kards Sharks back. I guess I was WRONG about last year being the Most Competitive Year in this league. I should have known -- GST ONLY get More and More Competitive in EVERY league YEAR AFTER YEAR!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 2. Score Lords 3. Kard Sharks 4. Braves 2012 5. Streetz Bye Fenway 6. Day Dreamers 7. Spin Doctors 8. Cameron Crazies 9. DC Cubs 10. Hoosier Daddy 11. Mariner Madness 12. Waterloo Wildcats (Commish) 13. X 14. Drunken Bastard 15. Eville Elite 16. Purple Helmet 00 17. Stone Swingers 3 18. Langley Knights
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Spin Doctors 2. Cameron Crazies 3. Streetz Bye Fenway 4. Kard Sharks 5. Score Lords 6. Day Dreamers 7. Braves 2012 8. Glassbreakers
Score Lords and I kept the lead in our respective Divisions almost the whole 2nd Half. This league has developed into one of toughest leagues going in GST kind of quietly. The Playoffs pretty much showed ANY team in this league has the potential to win it all! Spin Doctors becomes the FIRST Back-to-Back League Champion this league has known. That's Pretty Damn SPECIAL!!
There was plenty of Smack Talk in this league, mostly due to the Rookie Cameron Crazies! That's something considering Kard Sharks was back. Our new Commissioner handled it all extremely well, and the league ended up even better for it.

2015 -- We had a Nice Collection of the Loyal Crowd with New Faces thrown in. We filled up early and were ready to go early.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Braves 2012 2. Spin Doctors 3. Cameron Crazies 4. DC Cubs 5. Day Dreamers 6. Streets Bye Fenway 7. Langley Knights 8. X 9. Green Monster 10. Waterloo Wildcats (Commish) 11. Hoosier Daddy 12. Eville Elite 13. Kard Sharks 14. Stone Swingers 3 15. Purplehelmut 16. Drunk Bastards 17. Chicago Cubs 18. James Dandy Team
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Cameron Crazies 2. Day Dreamers 3. Braves 2012 4. Spin Doctors 5. X 6. Streets Bye Fenway 7. DC Cubs 8. Langley Knights
Braves 2012 had his Best Year, and that's saying a LOT! He Dominated this league pretty much -- but it was Cameron Crazies, who took his Trash Talking to a new level -- The League Championship! Sadly he has subsequently been Banned because of his Unruliness in a GST Football League. I always wondered WHY he Hid his Email from leagues he entered.
