Guys, here's another thought for you -- 1 you've Firmly Resisted in the Past, but listen to me out. I would like to see us Pay FOR ALL SALARIES at the BEGINNING of the Official Baseball Season.
I KNOW you guys like to Change your FAAB through trades, but this COULD STILL BE DONE -- by ACTUALLY including FAAB DOLLARS with trades. Yes, those trades would NEED to be Registered on the League Message Board --- but Right Now ALL Trades, except trades that are exactly Even FAAB, need to be Posted on the Message Board, so your Commissioner/Scribe can Keep FAAB Current. Face it guys -- it Really is THE SAME THING!! Only my proposed change would be, at least, less administratively taxing -- at least the FAAB changes would be CLEARLY STATED. Let future salaries/non-future salaries take care of the goodly amount of trading. Just keep in mind --- IT REALLY IS THE SAME THING.
Let me know what you think.

I would be fine with this. Just have to make sure you include $$ exchanging hands in trade offers as it won't be obvious.

I'm against. This is a complicated enough league to trade in. But having to trade future dollars with it, and then log and track that. I think it makes it too hard to enjoy the game.

Travis and I just made a trade of 2 guys with existing salaries but open contracts. The cost difference is $6 but that will show up on the contracts we post before the draft next year. Why should this be a problem. If I post 20 keepers for $78 rather than $72 we will all know this before the draft and our FAAB will be posted accordingly. If Fish are objecting to this I don't see it.
Of course I may be missing the point. It sounds like Harry's suggestion is just good operating procedure.

Harry or Dennis:
What is our starting $ figure fr 2016? $310, $320? More?
Also: When did we agree to raise the ante to $250. I don't believe there was a vote on this.
