I was hoping I had a "good handle" on this type of league through GST Trial Points1 league run the previous year. I was to learn this type of league is Much Harder to Commission than H2H leagues! There is NO DOUBT than this type of league is a FUN way to do FMLB. Every morning you wake up you get to see, player by player, JUST how your team performed for the day -- and you opponents too. Still, it keeps the H2H flavor also.

2012 -- I went into this year with this league hoping for the best! I placed the league in the PremiumPro category because I believed in it fully. I changed the stats significantly in an effort to achieve "fairness for ALL strategies", which is DIFFICULT in ANY Points league.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Ricky Vaughn 2. RBI'd for Her Pleasure 3. City of Champions 4. Prego 5. Ya-Noshers 6. Punisher 7. Chipper HOF 8. Swisher Sweets 9. Glassbreakers (Commish) 10. Giants 11. Reds 12. Rose 7 13. Drunk Cubs Fan 14. Mandelbaummandelbaum
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Chipper HOF 2. Ricky Vaughn 3. City of Champions 4. Prego 5. Swisher Sweets 6. Punisher 7. Ya-Noshers 8. RBI's for Her Pleasure
Ricky Vaughn is a Points 1 Win H2H specialist I guess. Must be, its the only GST league he enters. Why do I bring this up? Because he absolutely OWNS this league, Regular Season anyways. He's won every Regular Season of this league pretty handily. It was a little tougher this year, but he also went deeper into the playoffs this past year--all the way to the Finals, where he was the HEAVY FAVORITE.
You guessed it--he was beaten, despite scoring big, quite decisively. Chipper HOF, a GST newcomer who expanded his participation a good bit in 2012, won the Championship by 100 points! He will represent this fun league in the 2013 GST Tournament of Champions!

2013 -- With a big stat change, once again, I felt certain I had gotten a handle on ensuring "all strategies competing fairly" and "quality over quantity". The league expanded to 16 teams, very exciting!
Regular Season Finish: 1. RBI's for Her Pleasure 2. Chipper HOF 3. Shang Hai Grand 4. City of Champions 5. Spin Doctors 6. Ricky Vaughn 7. DC Cubs 8. Hammer the Ball 9. Prego 10. Glassbreakers (Commissioner) 11. Drew IV 12. NY Arrows 13. Red Devils 14. Zoo Medic 15. Swisher Sweets 16. Horse Meat
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Shang Hai Grand 3. RBI'd for Her Pleasure 4. Chipper HOF 5. Spin Doctors 6. DC Cubs 7. Hammer the Ball 8. Ricky Vaughn
The new stat line seemed to be working, but league consternation arose over a secondary problem. Streaming got to such a fever pitch that some teams were getting ANY available starting pitchers, when they did in fact want to, because they were simply taken by the "early birds". After a short time I saw they were correct and spent much hard thought on how best to correct this situation without causing too much mid-season change. I finally changed the Waiver Time to 5 days. That worked well and the league, after a bit further consternation and discussion, settled down nicely.
RBI'd for Her Pleasure was PURE DOMINANT, with a 20-2 record! It looked for a long time like he would not lose ALL YEAR! Meanwhile the Scramble for the Playoffs was INTENSE! It literally came down to the Last Week! Almost every team was involved! However it was City of Champions, in his most Successful Season Ever (and that's saying A LOT for a Living Legend!) that took the Championship! It is SO HARD to win the Deadly Double in FMLB -- ESPECIALLY in GST!

2014 -- One large tweak in favor of relievers had me very confident that the Stat Points had become GST acceptable finally. It was great seeing so many New Faces!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Hammer the Points 2. Glassbreakers (Commish) 3. LA Islander 4. Nati Reds 5. NY Arrows 6. Batmen 7. 2001 Atlanta Braves 8. Kermy's Pit Bulls 9. California Angels 10. DC Cubs 11. Red Devils 12. California Chrome 13. Chipper HOF 14. Krull's Slayers 15. RBI'd for her Pleasure 16. Prego
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. LA Islander 2. Hammer the Points 3. Glassbreakers 4. Nati Reds 5. 2001 Atlanta Braves 6. NY Arrows 7. Batmen 8. Kermy's Pit Bulls
Hammer the Points dominated the season, but not like in seasons past. He finished strong to end up dominating. There was a point about 1/3 of the season through where it seemed EVERYBODY was tied. If the Playoff Grab of last season seemed crazy -- this year it was positively INSANE, with practically EVERY team RIGHT THERE. No team was eliminated until very late. I'm sure most teams woke up that morning frantic to see if they had made it. That's a feature of the 1 Win feature. If that seemed insane, the Playoffs were to take it to another complete level! Teams were winning on the SLIGHTEST of Points! Other than LA Islander slaughter of my team in the 2nd Round, EVERY Playoff Competition seemed to go right down to the Last Day! LA Islander won it in another Close Competition in the Finals! He'll be heading back to the Tournament of Champions after an absence. Good to see him there again!
The stats I think are pretty much settled completely. There was absolutely NO consternation at all all year. The number of moves had no effect of the weekly competitions any more than any other GST league -- the leader of moves ended up in Last Place.

2015 -- We filled up Bigger, Faster, Quicker than ever before. This league attracted the Most New Faces of any GST league!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Edgaaar 2. Prego 3. Chipper HOF 4. LA Islander 5. 2001 Atlanta Braves 6. DC Cubs 7. Monkey Trappers 8. Score Lords 9. Day Dreamers 10. California Angels 11. California Chrome 12. Batmen 13. Glassbreakers (Commish) 14. New York Arrows 15. Hammer The Points 16. Red Devils 17. Wang Tu Shizznitters 18. Nati Reds
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Edgaaar 2. Chipper HOF 3. LA Islander 4. Prego 5. DC Cubs 6. Score Lords 7. Monkey Trappers 8. 2001 Atlanta Braves
This is 1 of the Strangest Stories in GST. Very early on in the season, 1 of the GMs discovered this was NOT a Weekly league and asked for his money to be refunded. When this did not happen he decided to make the Best of It -- WHICH HE CERTAINLY DID! This was the Most Competitive Seasons ever! Nothing was really decided until the Last Week! In the end, Edgaaar, the GM denoted earlier, pulled it off -- and didn't Stop There! He won throughout the Playoffs, winning the Finals in a 14 Point Squeaker!! Sadly, he Refused his Tournament of Champions Invite, so he won't be Representing the League, but stated he would be back to Defend His Title (if possible, apparently Arizona has some funky laws). Don't let the Win%s fool you, this was the CLOSEST competition this league has known, with PLENTY of Recovering from Bad Starts, and Lead Changes! The high/low Win%s are just a function of the 1 Win scenario League Concept.
High Win%: .682 Low Win%: .227
