This is one of GST's Eldest Pro ($) Leagues. It was initially named ProKeepers -- before I split the league into 2 leagues.

2010 -- This was GST's foray into a Keeper League. I created some Keeper Rules off the top of my head. The idea was they would be simple, but very strategic. The league seemed to take to them like a fish to water. There were some minor clarifications needed, but nothing major. The inaugural draft was very exciting!
Regular Season Finish: 1. City of Champions 2. Honey Nut Ichiros 3. Yellow Cap 4. Ellsbury Dough Boy 5. Spin Doctors 6. Traffic Jammers 7. Rain Down Pain 8. Red Devils 9. Drunken Bastard 10. RI Roughers 11. Glassbreakers (Commissioner) 12. War Machine 13. Dirt Dogs 14. Rainmaker
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Yellow Cap 2. Spin Doctors 3. Red Devils 4. Rain Down Pain 5. City of Champions 6. Traffic Jammers 7. Honey Nut Ichiros 8. Ellsbury Dough Boy
I think this was the league and year that changed Yellow Cap forever! The year before, he had had a rough go of it in TopPro, and approached me about cutting way back in GST because he was not up to the competition. I was able to talk him out of it -- I think we are BOTH glad I was able to! Not a nicer guy either. If there were such an award, he would win GST Sportsmanship of the Year every year!

2011 -- This is the year War Machine took over Commissioning this league and changed the stats quite a bit, though he kept the 10x10 format.
Regular Season Finish: 1. Yellow Cap 2. City of Championship 3. Ellsbury Dough Boy 4. War Machine (Commish) 5. Red Devils 6. Northsiders K 7. Honey Nut Ichiros 8. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 9. Spin Doctors 10. The Turdles 11. Phantastic 12. Drunken Bastard 13. Traffic Jammers 14. Dirt Dogs
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. War Machine 2. City of Champions 3. Yellow Cap 4. Northsiders K 5. Ellsbury Dough Boy 6. Red Devils 7. Glassbreakers 8. Honey Nut Ichiros
This was War Machine's GST Crowning Moment -- and I couldn't have been PROUDER!! Beating City of Champions in the Finals HAD to be a Special Feeling! Yellow Cap had been DOMINANT all year, but this league FOUGHT ALL YEAR LONG!

2012 -- It never dawned on me, a league as good as this one, would loose so many teams! I've come to know now, its the nature of Keeper leagues. Everyone wants to initially draft, but always looking to jump ship if they don't have the best keepers. Luckily, this is GST, and we ended up with even BETTER GMs to come! And we EXPANDED to 16 teams to boot!!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Spin Doctors 2. GAP Pale Hose 3. Red Devils 4. Mooniacs 5. War Machine (Commish) 6. Ellsbury Dough Boy 7. City of Champions 8. Daydreamers 9. Drunken Bastard 10. Andburg Wolf Pack 11. Northsiders 12. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 13. Traffic Jammers 14. Yellow Cap 15. Myrtle Beach Mermen 16. Drunk Cubs Fan
Championship Playoff Finals: 1. Red Devils 2. Spin Doctors 3. War Machine 4. City of Champions 5. GAP Pale Hose 6. Ellsbury Dough Boy 7. Mooniacs 8. Day Dreamers
I've NEVER seen a performance LIKE IT!! Well into the season Spin Doctors WENT ON A RUN LIKE NO OTHER!! He just started SMASHING --- EVERYBODY he faced each week. It led to THE Most Dominant Season in GST History. His .647, I believe, is THE Best Win% in a GST H2H league EVER!! And he had a Great Playoffs too -- but it was to be Red Devils Shining Moment, as he beat Spin Doctors in a Hard Fought Finals!! Red Devils had cut back earlier, leaving UltimatePro to concentrate on this league only. After this Championship, he re-expanded back out into GST, becoming a Quasi-GST Regular. He's a Tough Competitor! I believe we'll see him in the Tournament of Champions 1 day! The Playoffs as a whole were one of the hardest fought of any GST league ever!

2013 --- Another big year of turmoil. We had lots of teams to replace. Luckily we got some real Strong GMs to come into the league!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Commerce Comets 2. Day Dreamers 3. City of Champions 4. Mooniacs 5. Salty Seamen 6. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 7. Spin Doctors 8. Red Devils 9. War Machine II (Commish) 10. Ellsbury Dough Boy 11. Cub Keeper 12. Northsiders 13. Drunk Bastard 14. GAP in my Pale Hose 15. Langley Knights 16. The Cock Blossoms
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Commerce Comets 2. Glassbreakers 3. Salty Seamen 4. Spin Doctors 5. Mooniacs 6. Day Dreamers 7. City of Champions 8. Red Devils
GST owes a Special Thankyou to Commerce Comets who created the GST Website! He was basically a GST Rookie, having only 1 GST league under his belt when he took over a team here. It's never easy taking over a team in a well established Keeper League. Little did I realize just how SPECIAL he would be to this league! It's one thing (hard enough) to win a Regular Season in ANY GST league -- its another altogether to come up with 3 CLUTCH Wins afterwards (of course the $ is NICE if you do!)!! The league as a whole was a hard fought battle all year long -- but Commerce Comets won it with some to spare. Every one of his wins throughout the Playoffs was a BATTLE. He captured the League Championship too! Pretty DAMN GOOD Rookie Year!!! I'm not saying it hasn't been done in GST -- but it IS rare, and that's because in GST -- it's really DAMN HARD TO DO! 8 teams, no byes, and EVERY team you face, PLENTY good enough to beat you! Pretty Special!

2014 -- Can you say TRANQUILITY?! Only 1 team to be replace, and that was Score Lords taking over for City of Champions, symbolic of his taking over as the "Face of GST". This league was the first to fill up, the first to be paid up, the first to have the Draft set! Sweet!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Ellsbury Dough Boy 2. Cub Keeper 3. Commerce Comets 4. Score Lords 5. GAP in my Pale Hose 6. Salty Seamen 7. Red Devils 8. Spin Doctors 9. Northsiders 10. The Cock Blossoms 11. Glassbreakers (Co-Commish) 12. War Machine II (Commish) 13. Day Dreamers 14. Mooniacs 15. Langley Knights 16. Drunken Bastard
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Commerce Comets 2. Score Lords 3. Red Devils 4. Spin Doctors 5. Cub Keeper 6. Salty Seamen 7. GAP in my Pale Hose 8. Ellsbury Dough Boy
Nobody knows what an Exceptional Tough Competitor Ellsbury Dough Boy is better than the Commishes of this league. This year Ellsbury Dough Boy finally won a Regular Season Championship in a GST Pro League (he's one of GST's first GMs to emerge from the Am (free) leagues)! I'm not saying it wasn't a Battle in this league ALL YEAR LONG, but he won it pretty much Decisively in the end. ---- Can you say BACK-TO-BACK CHAMPIONSHIP!?! Even after all these years, its only been done a HANDFUL OF TIMES throughout GST!! He had a helluva competition with Spin Doctors requiring a Yahoo Tiebreaker to decide it, and then had to beat Score Lords in a tough one in the Finals! It might have been even a harder road the 2nd Time! I believe GST has found a KEEPER!!! NOW, the question is: Can Commerce Comets become GST's FIRST Back-to-Back-to-Back Champion??!~

2015 -- Again, the 1st GST League to be paid up and the draft set! This would be the 1st year I would not actually compete with this league, as I found a Fine Replacement Commissioner. This league was a hard 1 to give up though!
Regular Season Finish: 1. Ellsbury Dough Boy 2. Cub Keeper 3. The Cock Blossoms 4. New York Deathstare 5. Spin Doctors 6. Day Dreamers 7. Waterloo Wildcats (Commish) 8. Langley Knights 9. Northsiders 10. GAP in my Pale Hose 11. Jamballs 12. Drunken Bastards 13. Red Devils 14. Salty Seamen 15. Commerce Comets 16. Sobchak Security
Championship Playoff Finish: 1. Ellsbury Dough Boy 2. Cub Keeper 3. New York Deathstare 5. Spin Doctors 6. Day Dreamers 7. Langley Knights 8. Water Wildcats
Ellsbury Dough Boy won the Regular Season Championship again, only THIS TIME who took it right through the Playoffs too -- on his way to FINALLY fulfilling his Endless Potential and having his Greatest Season EVER, leaping up the GST All-Time Earnings list significantly! That's NOT to say it was Easy though! He won the Regular Season by ONE HALF GAME over Wild Card The Cock Blossoms, and while he Rolled Smoothly through the Playoffs -- he did have a Tough Competition with Cub Keeper in the Finals! HELLUVA Championship, HELLUVA Season for Ellsbury Dough Boy!! Ellsbury Dough Boy has never been a Prolific GM, and competes in the 2nd Layer of GST Pro Leagues, but I'm Hoping he will hold on to some of the $s won this year, and try his hand in at least 1 GST PremiumPro League, where I have faith he would become an Instant Favorite for a GST Tournament of Champions Invite!
