This has been an unexpected, highly competitive league since its inception! While some of the promoted teams have found it tough going in GST AAA, many have used their winnings and went on to have found (financial) success in GST Pro (pay) Leagues and even GST Premium Pro Leagues.
This league is about the GMs, not about the Commissioner. I lock my team for the 2nd Half, but if my team makes the Playoffs, I compete fully thereafter.

Sadly the results of this league have been lost. Beardstown Riverrats was the Regular Season Champion. Many of these teams are still with this league or have moved on into GST Pro Leagues or GST Premium Pro Leagues.

Obviously the competitive level picked up GREATLY this year. I no longer know if the GST Regulars would be dominant any more. Giants proved to be our first truly successful Beginner promoted, as he DOMINATED the Regular Season, like no-one before ever dominated this league. Sadly he wasn't able to translate that into the Playoffs, losing in the 1st Round. This is where Coorslight Capitals began to prove his mettle, now a successful GM in the GST Pro Ranks!

Regular Season Finish: 1. G's Trout Homeruns 2. Wang Fun Club 3. Baseball Bum 4. The Sasquatches 5. Giants 6. Coorslight Capitals 7. Glassbreakers (Commish) 8. BR5-49 9. Haight Ashbury 10. Silver City Owls 11. Baller 12. Sailor Jerry 13. Rat Brown 14. Black Socks
Championship Playoffs Finish: 1. Wang Fun Club 2. Giants 3. Baseball Bum 4. BR5-49 5. Coorslight Capitals 6. G's Trout Homeruns 7. The Sasquatches 8. Glassbreakers
This was a terrifically TIGHT Regular Season! This league is more and more being filled by GST Pros (NOT the Big Boys -- this I will no longer allow). They did well, but it was, in the end Wang-Fun's year, who is going in the opposite direction. Giants come SO CLOSE to fulfilling his promise this past year! Some of the League Leaders fell a LITTLE this past year, but they WILL RETURN to form, I'm sure. A couple will be promoted to GST AAA.

2015
Regular Season Finish: 1. Spanks McGee 2. Glassbreakers (Commish) 3. G's Trout Homeruns 4. Tim W's Rad Team 5. Haight Ashbury 6. Pocket Aces 7. Baseball Bum 8. Black Socks 9. Baller 10. Back 2 Basics 11. Rat Brown 12. Giants 13. BR5-49 14. Sailor Jerry 15. Winston Pups 16. The Sasquatches 17. Pine Tar Bastards 18. Robert's Super Team
Championship Playoffs Finish: 1. Pocket Aces 2. Haight Ashbury 3. Spanks McGee 4. Baseball Bum 5. Glassbreakers (Commish) 6. Tim W's Rad Team 7. Black Socks 8. G's Trount Homeruns
The first half of the season was literal turmoil. Almost every team had the lead at one point, and the standings were volatile. In the 2nd Half I though my team would be domianant, even though by that time I had "locked" my team for the 2nd Half as is traditional in the 2nd Half. In the end it was Spanks McGee who become the Dominant Team, though the league significantly reeled him back in in the end. It also looked like he would roll in the Playoffs at first, but Pocket Aces had a brilliant Playoffs for the League Championship! I find it very interesting that the Top 2 Teams won GST A the past 2 years! In fact, when I look this league up and down, I see quite a few of GST A's Best GMs from years past. True, many of this leagues Past Powerhouse GMs have graduated to GST AAA, or even straight into the Pro Ranks -- with at least 1 climbing GST's All-Time Earnings Board quite rapidly, despite a missed year. I believe this PROVES how WELL the GST Am system is working!
High Win%: .575 Low Win%: .424
