All GMs entering GST are expected to stay active throughout the ENTIRE baseball season. If you need to be absent, we request that you contact your Commissioner so that your team can be minimally maintained during your absence. This is basically the one and only requirement to being a GST GM.
You will find it difficult to compete effectively (but not impossible) in the GST Premium Pro leagues without a sufficient activity level.

There is a firm distinction between being a commissioner and being a GM. It is the responsibility of the commissioner to create leagues that will be enjoyable and challenging for the GMs and to fill those leagues adequately to fulfill the competitive requirements for each league. It is the RESPONSIBILITY for EACH GM to enter the correct number of leagues for each individual GM. While its true that additional Premium Pro leagues increase both the chances to get into the Tournament of Champions and overall GST discount--it is STRICTLY up to the GMs themselves to maximize their potential. GMs are ENTIRELY responsible for their financial situation. AGAIN -- if GST reaches the opinion that money is being used for entry fees that are needed by a GM, or family -- TEAMS MAY BE DELETED.
